Animal Well is a puzzle game designed to keep players busy for up to a decade. Finishing it may suffice for the majority of players, but it'll likely take several tries to master every challenge and secret. Now we have Animal Well, a 2D puzzle platformer so filled with peculiar, idiosyncratic details that it feels as if solo maker Billy Basso took inspiration from the survival horror genre, adventure games, and Nintendo classics such as the original Zelda and Metroid.
